About our Training At Positive Paws, our instructors use positive and humane methods of training. The force free, motivational methods are used to achieve acceptable behaviors in the family dog. The training focuses on teaching basic manners and obedience cues as well as socializing and solving behavior problems. |

Group Classes All of our group classes are limited in size and have a 4:1 student:instructor ratio. Our classes are on-going and students have a choice to enroll in 4, 6, or 12-week sessions. The Basic Obedience and Manners Classes advance with four levels of training from Puppy Kindergarten to College Level. Group Classes are also offered in Tricks-4-Fun, Feisty Fidos, Pre-Therapy Dog Training, Canine Good Citizen, Agility-4-Fun, Walk this Way: Conquering Leash Walking, C.O.M.E. and more! Private Lessons Private Training Lessons are available in the privacy of your own home or at the training facility. Leassons are tailored to each individual dog and family's needs. Program development and lesson scheduling are flexible. Prices vary according to travel distance and program needs. Other Programs Agility-4-Fun Agility-4-Fun offers group classes that introduce the game of agility to pet dogs and their owners. Agility-4-Fun classes are held outdoors and are offered seasonally due to weather restrictions. Visiting Pet Program The Visiting Pet Program consists of a group of volunteers and their pets that go out into the community and visit facilities such as nursing homes, schools, and hospitals.
