Positive Paws is a full-service dog training school located in Dutchess County, NY. We have serviced the Hudson Valley area since 2000.
Our Mission
At Positive Paws, we assist owners in having a positive long-term relationships with their dogs. Using humane, gentle (and fun!) training techniques with behavior modification, we help owners teach their dogs to be well-mannered family members.

Crate Games - Use your dog's crate to build better focus and motivation, to help with self control and for an unbelievable stay, to train a quick and reliable recall, train distance skills for obedience or agility and to develope and amazing working relationship - limit 6 teams
K9 Games - From one of my all time favorite trainers, Ian Dumbar's K9 Games. Handlers and their dogs come together as a team to compete in games. All games are set up to help fine tune your dog's obedience skills - limit 6 teams

STUDENT ILLNESSES

Private Lessons:
- $100
- $75 for Zoom lesson
Classes: (classes are 6 sessions)
- $175~ register & pre-pay in advance by mail or paypal
- $150 ~ current students who register & pre-pay before graduation
Visiting Pet
- Pre-Screenings ~ Wednesday/Thursday by appointment
